Sweet Emily

Yesterday was Emily day. I went over to a VERY old pals house, we're talking grade school pal, to take some Christmas photos of sweet, sweet Emily. Emily is smiley, content and resembles a porcelain doll - which translates beautifully on camera. I went home that day hoping that the little bundle growing in my own belly will be half as happy as that little girl. She posed with ease by her Christmas tree, fireplace, played with ornaments, wore a santa hat and never, and I mean NEVER cried even once. If only all babies were that easy. Here are some previews from our shoot:

Kelly + Mike

Kelly and Mike got married almost 2 weekends ago. It was a gorgeous November day, which you can never count on that late in the fall. However, it was beautiful and we made the very best of it. The reception was at Addison Oaks, which is one of my favorite backdrops for wedding photos. I was a little worried with our lack of sunlight during photo time but, we got it done just in the nick of time! The lighting was ideal; the sun was going down, light was filtering through the trees - it was beautiful. It also helped that Addison Oaks was already decked out for the holiday season, which always makes for lovely scenery. Here are some teasers, obviously lots more to come...

Dan, Heidi and the kiddos

On what has to have been the last 70 degree day of the year, I had the opportunity to work with a family that I know quite well. My beautiful sister-in-law, her hubby and their 3 kids took me to the Grosse Pointe Woods Park for some kid/family photos. Check out some teasers from our unseasonably warm photo shoot with some REALLY cute kids:) Yes, I am biased BUT, I speak truth - just look at 'em!

Beth and Tony

I met Beth and Tony last fall, which feels like an eternity ago, at a coffee shop. I knew when I met them that we would work wonderfully together, it really helps when you have clients that are super down to earth and incredibly kind. Well, two weekends was their big day; they had a beautiful, autumn wedding in Macomb, Mich. on a lush, green golf course. I love autumn weddings. I love the flowers, the colors, the colorful backdrop that nature provides, the crisp fall air (even though it got pretty cold while shooting outside) and so much more. Here are some teasers from their beautiful day...
