Ann and Nick

Last Saturday Ann and Nick joined hands, hearts and souls in Franklin, Mich. It was a bit chilly and overcast, but it was absolutely perfect for photos. They wed in a small but beautiful chapel with an intimate group of friends and family. We spent time taking photos in both Franklin and downtown Detroit, which was not far from their reception spot - one of my favs - La Dolce Vita. It was a wonderful day of celebration and I hope you enjoy these teasers. 

Baby Joseph

Here are some teaser pics from baby Joseph's newborn photo shoot. The little guy was so full of life the day of the shoot and just refused to close his little eyes. I think he subconsciously wanted the world to see his beautiful eyes - I can't blame him! Baby J is the grandson of one of my mother's dearest friends, so this was an extra special photo job. Baby Scarly Turns 1

My beauty of a niece, Scarlett, turned one in February. As cliche as it may sound, It's incredible how fast a year can fly by. Watching this little gal go from newborn to infant in what seems like the blink of an eye, has been both a pleasure and honor. Taking her photos throughout the process has too been an honor. Little Scarly, her parents and I had a fun photo shoot a few weeks back - balloons and all! She has such a fun personality, I think it shines through in the photos. Enjoy a few teasers...

 

Tina and Dan

Beauty certainly runs in my sister-in-laws family. This past Monday, I had the pleasure of working with my brother's beautiful wife's sister and her soon-to-be husband. Whew, that's a mouth full. Tina and Dan, the future hubby and wifey, reside in Minnesota, but came to town last weekend for a quick visit and to celebrate our nieces first birthday. I was so glad they asked me to shoot their engagement photos. If anything, it gave me a couple of hours with these two refreshingly sweet, kind and funny couple that are sure to make a long and lasting duo. We spent a little time cruising for locations around Grosse Pointe and eventually found our way onto Belle Isle, just before they turn it into a state park! It was a sunny, beautiful day.
