Dan, Heidi and the kiddos

On what has to have been the last 70 degree day of the year, I had the opportunity to work with a family that I know quite well. My beautiful sister-in-law, her hubby and their 3 kids took me to the Grosse Pointe Woods Park for some kid/family photos. Beth and Tony

I met Beth and Tony last fall, which feels like an eternity ago, at a coffee shop. I knew when I met them that we would work wonderfully together, it really helps when you have clients that are super down to earth and incredibly kind. Well, two weekends was their big day; they had a beautiful, autumn wedding in Macomb, Mich. on a lush, green golf course. I love autumn weddings. I love the flowers, the colors, the colorful backdrop that nature provides, the crisp fall air (even though it got pretty cold while shooting outside) and so much more. Christmas Andrew

Monday I had the pleasure of working with my little pal Andrew, again. It's hard to believe that he's quickly getting closer to that one year mark. He's a lucky guy (and I'm a lucky gal) that he has a mama that wants his 1st year so well documented. This last shoot was based around a theme... Christmas. Ahhh, my favorite time of the year. Christmas lights, crackling fireplaces, sweet smelling evergreens... you name it, I like it; call me old fashioned. So, we had some fun. Andrew's mom set the scene with their fireplace and I brought a couple of props with me to give the shoot some holiday spirit. Enjoy some of the teasers...

Grayson the Great

My incredibly handsome and charming Godson Grayson was my latest toddler subject. He's getting so big and FEARLESS. This kid is all over the place - climbing, running, laughing, sliding - he's awesome. We spent some time at the Grosse Pointe Woods Park for his 1.5 year old pics. The water and boat background was especially fitting since he was wearing searsucker pants with anchors on them - what a little country clubber! Enjoy some of the teasers:
