Welcome Baby Rosie Mae

Two weekends ago I went over to my brother and sister-in-law's house to capture the new edition to their family, Rosie Mae. Life with two little ones is a little more chaotic than with just one, but we managed to get some great shots despite our little ones having a party of their own (I mistakingly brought my little guy over to play with his cousin). Although I have slowed down my photography business to a crawl, I do enjoy doing what I love with those closest to me. The Verlinde Family

Sunday I had the pleasure of spending the better part of my day in East Lansing with a really cool family. Jim and Sue have been married almost 50 years, and in that time, have raised four boys and witnessed the birth of twelve beautiful grandkids. Each of the four families have kids with their own, all with distinct personalities, joy and life. It was a pleasure to capture such a loving group and celebrate what life should be about, family.

Ann and Nick

Last Saturday Ann and Nick joined hands, hearts and souls in Franklin, Mich. It was a bit chilly and overcast, but it was absolutely perfect for photos. They wed in a small but beautiful chapel with an intimate group of friends and family. We spent time taking photos in both Franklin and downtown Detroit, which was not far from their reception spot - one of my favs - La Dolce Vita. It was a wonderful day of celebration and I hope you enjoy these teasers.
